I have been knitting 7x9 squares for the Warm Up America! afghan and baby hats for the hospital in Texas. I never knew there were some many charities that wanted knitted items. I even joined a group called "SOCKFORSOLDIERS". Which every knitter they contact will knit one pair of military standard socks for men or women. It will be a little while before I can start knitting sock. Sabrina, from my group, has been knitting socks and maybe I will ask her for some advice before starting socks.
